The Art of Being a Woman: My prayer for you… {Week Six}

Art of being a woman header 2

Thank you Father for every woman who reads this prayer today. For You chose her before the creation of the world (Ephesians 1:4). She was created in Your image (Genesis 1:26-28) and reflects Your authenticity, creativity, originality, purpose, love, faith, and compassion.

We pray she will know her perfection through Your eyes, a perfection that is set apart, holy, and irrevocable. May Satan’s temptations of body, soul, and spirit be revealed. May his taunting about her identity halted as she finds her true identity in YOU. Not man, not money, not title, not service.

We pray Your daughter understands that she is the mobile sanctuary of the living God. A God who is jealous for her, a God who wants her all to Himself. Let her “make a clean break with everything that defiles or distracts [her], both within and without” (2 Corinthians 6:14-7:1). Whether it be addiction, comparison, people pleasing, unforgiveness, fear or pride, we call it out and we call her a new creation by the power of Your Holy Name.

We stand against comparison or disunity of in the church and pray for one body and one Spirit (Ephesians 4:4) brought under the headship of Jesus for the Glory of God’s Kingdom.

May Your daughter, whom You love, have an urgency in her spirit for the work of the Kingdom that can only come from knowing her irrevocable purpose and calling (Romans 11:29). Lord, we pray that Your daughter always puts her Caller before the vocation You have called her too. May it be her passion for Your unfailing love, Your forgiveness, the gift of transformation, and the hope found in eternal life that lights a city in a dark world.

We pray that Your daughter is encouraged by a cloud of witnesses to her life purpose. Surround her Lord with people, mentors, and coaches that will give wings to her dreams. Ultimately, may she always know that you are her promoter and the God who sees her. You are the One who has anointed her for your ministry and You are the one who will provide all she needs.

May she throw doubt to the curb and walk boldly into her calling regardless of the season of life, education, title, or finances, trusting You for every detail.

For with you Lord, we know ALL things are possible.

Finally, Lord, we thank You for removing the stone heart from our bodies and replace it with a heart that’s God-willed, not self-willed. We thank You for putting Your Spirit in each woman who reads this today and for making it possible for her to do what You tell her, and to live by your commands (Ezekiel 36:26-28 MSG). What a gift! It is not by our own power but by your AMAZING GRACE that we live with You, and You with us. We are forever grateful.

In Jesus Name, Amen
