Creating Meaningful Community

If you are not utilizing Facebook to build your church, now is the time.

Facebook is all about “creating meaningful community”. So is the church. That makes a great working relationship for churches and Facebook.

Recent updates in security at Facebook is driving post traffic in a new direction. Facebook wants to personalize your feed with people and communities that you interact with. That means less ads and fake news and more value posts. These changes present huge benefits for the local church.

First, the more people that like, comment or share your Facebook community, the more Facebook shares your page or group FOR FREE. If done correctly, you can stop sending mailers. Save money AND trees.

When Facebook sees that your content has value (which it does), Facebook will help drive engagement and growth by putting your messages and posts into the feed of like-minded people. This makes Jesus the center of social media for your friends and friends of friends, right where He is meant to be!
